At the end of Term 2 Year 5's were exploring the vocabulary of Leisure/Pleasure. We described pictures, identified key words and matched to picture then linked sentences to both. At the end we wrote our own understanding of the key words and shared with the group. This work was part of the English Language Assistant Professional Development course facilitated by Jannie Van Hees 2012.
In Term 2 the Year 5's were learning about how to write instructions. They made a Marble Track, tested it, and identified the verbs they used.
